Derek DeCloet is Executive Editor of The Globe and Mail and Editor of Report on Business. He has been writing about business and finance since the late 1990s. He joined the Globe and Mail in 2003 and began writing Vox, the newspaper's popular investment column. He won the 2009 National Magazine Award for business writing. His column appears monthly in Report on Business Magazine.
