Michelle da Silva is an audience editor for the Report on Business. She joined The Globe in 2022 after working for Xtra, NOW and The Georgia Straight. Her writing has also appeared in Canadian Business, Chatelaine, Cottage Life, Refinery29 and Vice.

A music lover and former indie radio broadcaster, Michelle sits on the juries of the Polaris Music Prize and JUNO Awards. She has appeared on live-audience and broadcast panels to provide insights on Asian-Canadian pop culture, 2SLGBTQ+ nightlife, diversity in media and everything in between.

Originally from Vancouver, B.C., Michelle loves the Raptors, has many tattoos and runs an Instagram account for her cat. She once sang on stage with Barbra Streisand.
