Ottawa to give $71.7-million to B.C. to boost access to substance abuse treatment

The Federal Minister of Health, Ginette Petitpas Taylor and Judy Darcy, British Columbia's Minister of Mental Health and Addictions, have announced a bilateral agreement between the province and Ottawa to help B.C. increase access to treatment for substance abuse. The announcement comes amid the ongoing opioid epidemic.
