When you hear the name "Costco," you can't help but associate it with great prices on everything from groceries to household essentials to apparel. But sometimes, Costco outdoes itself with extra savings on select items.

This November, you have plenty of opportunities to save big. Costco has already released several early Black Friday deals. But you should make a point to check out these five items that are available at a major discount right now.

1. $20 off of a $500 Southwest Airlines eGift Card

The nice thing about Costco's gift cards is that you can buy them below their face value. The usual price for a $500 Southwest Airlines gift card is $449.99 at Costco.com. But right now, you can score $20 off, bringing your final price down to $429.99.

If you're planning to travel for the holidays, then now's a good time to grab this gift card while it's still available. You may also want to sign up for a credit card that gives you bonus rewards or miles on travel purchases.Click here for a list of the best travel reward credit cards.

2. $200 off a 13-inch MacBook Air laptop

If you've been thinking about upgrading to a new laptop, you may want to check out Costco this month. And you may want to specifically grab a 13-inch MacBook Air for $200 off the regular price, bringing your total online cost to $699.99. This model features eight gigabytes of memory and an 18-hour battery life.

Plus, when you buy electronics at Costco, you get the benefit of a free second-year warranty and no-cost tech support. You also get 90 days to make returns.

3. $6 off a 120-count of Kirkland Signature Coffee Organic Pacific Bold K-Cups

You may not be quite as excited about $6 of savings on coffee compared to $200 of savings on a laptop. But that $6 discount could make your caffeine habit a lot less costly this month, since it brings the online price of 120 K-Cups down to $31.99. That's just $0.27 per pod, which is far less than a cup of coffee at your local Starbucks or Dunkin'.

Also, that $31.99 price is what you'll pay online. Costco's in-store prices are almost always cheaper than the prices you see listed on its website. So if you scoop up this coffee in person, you might save even more.

4. $5 off a 10-pack of Kleenex Trusted Care Facial Tissue (2-ply, 230-count per box)

Tissues aren't exactly a fun purchase. But they are a necessity, especially at this time of year as cold viruses start to circulate. If you're going to buy tissues, you might as well save money on them.

Right now, Costco is offering $5 off a 10-pack of Kleenex, which brings the online price down to $19.99, or roughly $2 per box. And you'll likely find a lower price if you buy these in person.

If you don't have room to store 10 boxes at once, consider sending a few boxes into your kids' school. Their teachers will most certainly appreciate it.

Need a November pick-me-up? Or maybe a great dessert assortment to put on your Thanksgiving table? This David's Cookies assortment features six rocky road brownies and 12 chocolate chunk cookies. With the $6 discount, your total cost comes to $23.99 (and since this is an online-only special, that's the lowest the price goes).

Considering you might pay a lot more for an assortment at your local bakery, why not order this fresh mix of cookies and brownies instead? Plus, these items freeze well, so if you don't need such a large haul of sugar at once, you have options.

These five deals are only a few of many you'll find at Costco in November. Visit your local store or browse online to see what additional savings you can benefit from.
